to relax and mingle with other authors as well as partake the
ree whisky, coffee and food! nice!

The first two days in edinburgh were spent at the book festival, where I was involved in a children's workshop event and a signing in the book shop. It read the book and then demonstrted to the kids some techniquies with materials, perspective and drawing animals etc.
You know when you've hit the big time...

Every pub, bar, cafe, church and dog house had some kinda of happening.
Can recommend the 'Forrest cafe' community run hippy place, their baked nachos are awesome!
some french Hip-hop MC performing.
Great Little shops and galleries in the city. Went to great thrift and fancy dress store.
Was a great trip in all, Honor to be invited to the book fest. The workshop was a reasonable success and signed a few copies of the book so its all good. Great to meet some fellow little tiger illustrators and authors. Edinburgh is a great city during the festival period, even if you don't catch any shows its great to take in all the vibes. Lots of free shows, comedy, plays and musicals so can be cheap. Unfortunately camera was full at this point. But other highlights include an deep fried chicken burger and 'Kunt And The Gang's show.
Look forward to going next year! Buy the book!!! (or request it at the library if you're skint!)
peace out.
